Hi,

Melissa here from SCC Audi Club. We recently held a Mulholland Malibu Drive (I see my drive description on this forum!) and I'd love to submit shots of the group RS6s to "quattro quarterly".

If you have photos, please email them to me by April 1 at audi.events@gmail.com and give me your name so we can credit you.

We are famous! 7 RS6s in one spot that didnt have broken DRC systems. :cheers:

We would have had 10 if 3 were not broke down with assorted failures.

Melissa, I will see what I have and a few others took some shots of the 7 RS6 lineup. Thanks for the note and I may not make the event in NV due to my DRC on the way out the window and Audi without parts for 6 months.

Thanks Joa and Greg! Great shots. I love calling the RS6s 7 beasts, and the 5 R8s is also a winner.

Without looking at the Audi Club member list I don't know if you were just out for the day or part of our club. We'll have an event calendar posted in the next couple days, and I hope to see you on other runs.

Well I'll be darn, I never thought we'd have 7 :rs6kiss: is one spot. I was wrong afterall. Wish I could have been there for the historic event. The new all time record for RS 6s ANYWHERE together in the USA. Nice.:cheers:

Which event in Irvine? Sounds like something I'd want to go to.

I know two RS6s who couldn't attend this event so we probably have an overlap in those. Not sure who the other one is.

Holiday from San Diego was going to try to join us, Brav from Irvine also attempted but he partied a little too hard the night before, Benman, well, he had a perfectly valid excuse since he's got a new bundle of joy, Hy Octane who's been dealing with a shit DRC since early in his RS6 ownership. So, that actually probably puts us closer to 15! Ah well, there's always next time.

I'm going to say we hit a record 7 unless anyone objects. It looks like there were 7 in the Audizine shot but I can't see all the logos so I'm inclined to favor the Malibu Mulholland Drive since that was confirmed as 7.

Let's try for 12-15 at our Julian Drive Sept 13, weather permitting.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I was in Philadelphia where there are few Audis and no visible RS6s.

Anyway, thanks so much for confirming 7 beasts on Mulholland! That's great!!

I said "weather permitting" for the Julian Drive because we usually do that drive in Oct, but we rescheduled for Sept to avoid conflicting with events in NorCal. I'm hoping Sept won't be too firey hot.

I have to credit Riccardo, aka MyRS6tothelimit, for turning me onto this site. He was also waiting for a part and unable to make the Mulholland Drive.

We have the Angeles Crest Drive coming up May 10. Hope to see everyone there.

Julian is the next drive for me. Its closer for us and just a short trip over Interstate 8.

If we bring the motorhome again...I would like to stay longer and see some of the tourist traps in and around San Diego. You guys can point us in the right direction.

I think Greg was thinking about something much sooner than Sept for the rogue RS6 run. :MTM:

Thanks for the heads up. I marked most of the other holidays but forgot that one. I'll think we'll have to change it to the 9th or make it the following week.

My mother wants me to ask if you're single. Any guy who drives an RS6 and loves his mother is worth checking out. :love2:

Dave, ya, late spring is the perfect time for Julian IMO. I think September is probably going to be a bit too warm.

I was at the Meguiar event so I must have met you too. Riccardo is the nicest guy. Clive Dawson is another SCC member with an RS6, and although I only know him through email, he should be in on the fun.

Now I'm concerned about the Sept date. The people I spoke with in the SD area were open to doing it then. It's hard to please all of the people all of the time, however this year we've made it into a weekend event by having a pre-Julian Drive event day. This way more people can come from further distances and have reason to spring for a hotel room. I hope it works out.

You know... if you all want to meet in the middle of the country sometime, I have several nice drives outside of the DFW metroplex and/or I could lead a weekends worth of drives down in the hill country, base out of Fredericksburg.....

I wish I could break away and get out to your drives on the West coast! They sound fun.

Anyway, our Angeles Crest drive will be May 17 so the all good boys can be with their moms and/or wives.

And we're having a GTG on April 25 but that's a separate post.
