Rather like the Audi A8, this car needs a 4.0-litre TFSI V8 petrol and a 4.0-litre V8 diesel engine. The W12 is totally unacceptable these days. it's unnecessarily heavy, thirsty and dirty. Certainly a high output turbo V8 is required. Besides the W12 made the nose very heavy.
I am very cynical about the Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur models being very expensive, less economical VW/ Audi models. Of course, if you're going to base the Bentley on another car, the next generation A8 is a darn good place to start. It sure needs to be lighter.
