I was thinking over discounts around the world, here in Sweden there is no such thing as paying list price on cars (but you rarely bargain on other things here..)
In Sweden many car manufacturers look at the total potential of the buyer, such as if it is a company car, they look at the total amount of company cars that they presumptively can turn into cars of their own brand, they seem to like framework agreements, where the customer
"might buy" 3-4 cars over the next 3 year period (no restrictions though, it seems to be..)
I got 10% off on everything on my new Q5 3.0TDI incl. extras and packages, total list price was 638' SEK, (approx. € 56'/$70' incl. taxes) our company has a "potential" of 4 company cars.
What % did U get on your car? What is normal where you live/buy cars?
