Looking to go wider on stock RIM. Current size is 255/35 all the way around. How wide can I go with a 1 inch drop (Have KW3 installed).

265, 275 etc.?

Thanks!

I run 275/30/19 RE-01R but stock height, but on audiworld.com many people run that size with stasis or kw suspension. I have heard you might have to remove a clip in the fenderwell that holds in the liner but the liner will still stay in place just fine.

Thanks, I am contemplating going with spacers. Any experience with spacers.

I have not used them myself. I would ask on audiworld.com you will get a lot more answers from people who have these mods on your car. You should come to the NYC RS4 run this year that was organized there last year. 12 RS4 showed up.

Why would you want spacers? Just put on 275/30 19s and they fill out the arches anyway.

Will do that. Yeah that sounds cool, send me the info will come out for that. Since you are in NYC do you know any good performance shops that do aftermarket work for RS4s. Tired of driving across the bridge. Need to throw and exhaust on.

Just worried about rubbing. Cannot get a definitive answer on this anywhere.

I'm in Bergen County so all the shops I go to are in NJ. But I have heard nothing but praise about http://www.tyrolsport.com/ which is in Ridgewood NY. I know people on audiworld have taken their RS4 there for work and modifications.

Ah, cool, is your RS4 dropped?

+1 - standard RS4 suspension, not dropped.

Surely spacers would make rubbing worse since they push the tyre out further - to where the arches are lower?

Nope, good old standard suspension.
