Mr Balsen,

I wanted to know which water pump wheel MTM used as an upgrade to the RS6 water pump and what restrictor they used in place of the thermostat.

Thankyou in advance.

Using a smaller wheel will improve the cooling. But this true with every car....

So i assume you mean the pully not the actual wheel inside the engine?

What about the thermostat?

Thanks

Yes you are right, the pulley...

In hot countries like Dubai, there is no thermostat.

Frederic,

Is there a pulley you can tell me to use?

I live in Australia and on hot days we get 40-44 Deg. Celcius and the lowest we ever get where I live is around 5 Deg. Celcius, not sure if it would be beneficial to run no thermostat, any suggestions?

cutting the hood and cutting the big plastic part underneath a la Sportec is the first thing I will do....

They are on the list, I am having the thermostat replaced as it has failed so I would like to do the upgrades to the water pump/thermostat now while the car is apart if they will be beneficial also.

on my Audi Sport Quattro Groupe B Replica, the thermostat was changed for one which opened at 10 degrees celsius less than the genuine one...
