I have found the VW part in stock (#000-998-229A), but not sure it will work in the RS. Also was told about these, but am looking for some first-hand experience before I order one and try to install it.
Thanks!

Hmm, interesting, kfab was thinking about building one of those. It is a pretty convenient feature I do have to say. Not sure if I'd actually spend the money and try to install it though...

It's quite handy on long roadtrips (and yes, I'm that lazy). Every time I go from the A4 to The Beast, it is the one feature I miss.

so what is it?

it's the convenience flick, right now, to turn the turn signal, you need to actually move the stalk into position. With this flick, you can just tap it in the direction, the lights will blink twice and turn off. Good for lane changes.

I think it actually signals three, maybe four times with just a touch. Until we get reaquainted, I do a lot of lane changes with only one blink.

ya, maybe it is four; two seemed a bit low. But, that's what it does.

Turned off? You mean you can deactivate the 3-blink function and it reverts back to only one blink when you activate the signal? Interesting.

Yes it can be turned off in the board computer.
It is very practical on long trips on the autobahn.
