Unsure if that is the same E55 which the E92 M3 raced but it does look that on this occasion the RS4 put up a better fight. Is it known whether this is a stock RS4?

In the description for the video it says the E55 is tuned. The RS4 has kept up with alot of cars.

Wow, nice to see a stock RS4 run that well, but........................
Most stock E55s will run away from an RS4. A modded E55 will sprint away from an RS4. My E55 traps @ 17-18mph faster than my RS4 with an et difference of +1.5. Love the RS4 but let's be real.:rs4addict

Well that explains why I had my doubts. Let's face it, there no one more single minded to Audi world domination but the simple facts had the two closely matched for true weight but the Merc would have had an extra shit load of hp and torque and no trickiery would win this unless the RS4 was tuned.
Though on a positive note the same E55 beat the old shaped M5 which GTboard try to convince us that it is capable of destroying an RS4. Who do we believe, ha ha.

In this video you can clearly see how the higher rev range is allowing the RS4 hold on to the RS6. I would how far behind this RS4 would fare against either the new M3 or M5?
