Beautiful car mate. Any plans to get rid of the ginger side reflectors to clean up the front end?

Beautiful car, fantastic!

I have one question, is suzuka grey perleffect or metallic.

I think perleffect, or?

The new TTRS have the color suzuka grey metallic in the options!
Is this than the same color as here?

Thanks
Andi

AFAIK it's both pearl and metallic.

Member Benman should know more, send him a pm or use the search engine.

Dear Fehli,

the exact designation is Suzukagrey metallic. As the color is affected by sunlight, color turns out greyish to white, it is also a pearl effect like color. So, yes- it does have both characteristics, metallic and pearl.

Still one of the nicest color choices.

S8 http://www.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11662&highlight=Suzuka

When I think of it, Benman did some color matching I think. But perhaps he only sent me this info via pm or e-mail? (this is long time ago)

There are a lot of different "whites", and on photo they may look different or same depending on settings (due to the white balance of the camera etc.)

Suzuka grey appears white on most pictures, you can't see the effect on a photo.

I agree with Qisha this is the best choice of color, preferrably with black or antracite optics.

I have one more thing!

You can see an RS 6 5.0 TFSI quattro tiptronic. Suzukagrau Perleffekt in Neckarsulm

You can see it:

http://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/erlebniswelt/audi_forum_neckarsulm/audi_forum_erleben/tourismus.html#source=http://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/erlebniswelt/audi_forum_neckarsulm/audi_exclusive.html&container=page

I think now, there must be a few differents, or?

KresoF1

No, there is NO difference. Just a typo from audi.de...

Suzukagrau is Metallic Color(code is M1M1). It is according to internal code the same color as Suzukagrau Perleffekt previously ordered only as Audi Exclusive item.

Also if you look as Suzuka mixture it is in its natur metallic color.

Fehli,

Ditto what Qisha states. It is the only Pearl White I have ever seen that contains both pearl and metallic. Incredible in person as photos do not do it justice. As KresoF1 says, color code I believe is M1M1 (don't have the sprayout in front of me...). As for the names, same thing just semantics. Code is what is important (rose by any other name...)

Ben,
there is another TRUE pearl effect white from Audi called Inuit Pearleffekt. It is not the same color as Suzuka Grey Metallic. Inuit is pure white pearl color. Personally, I like Suzuka more.

I became from the Quattro GmbH today the colorcode for suzuka grey it is Y7F, is that the same code?

Have someone a picture with the Inuit color?

Thanks

Yes, Y7F or LY7F is internal code for M1M1 Suzukagraumetallic(german name).

Inuit Pearleffekt code L0H9

Ben,
there is another TRUE pearl effect white from Audi...

I realize they have other pearl whites, but I was not aware they had other pearls WITH metallic in the formula?!? Is this confirmed?

If you look at the mixture difference is that there is no grey in Inuit. But, there are metallic in it.

One learns something new every day! So now there are two metallic pearl whites... perhaps the wave of the future.

Just so you guys know, this is an expensive color to make. It covers like crap (i.e. very transparent) and consums gobs of pearl (expensive).
