I'm looking for an online store or dealer selling the original 2008 DVD navigation for Middle East (GCC Digital Road Map 8P0 919 884 AB) as the stealer here asking for $1100USD for this here. I don't believe it cost that much. Is it possible to order it from another country Audi dealer? or an online store??

I did,, and I found many topics talking about backing up Navigation DVD and I did all that but no hope. Seems new one has a protection. I can go for the new original one but if i got a reasonable price.

If I remember right it really depends on the hardware you use to do the backup. There is a specific drive that works. Though I will me honest I havent done it yet. I did put the RNS-E in my beast and love it but I am on an older DVD.

I will keep searching on how to backup this DVD, and also trying to find a good online shop or dealer can give a good price.

Try here, that seems like a ridiculous price. This is the company that makes them for Audi. http://www.navigation.com

They said "To get the latest version of your NAVTEQ map, you will need to contact your local Audi dealer. "

What's the best place to purchase RNS-E in the US?

I don't know if this is the best place as I found mine on EBay but this doesn't seem too bad compared to others and they seem to know a bit about the units. Search these places: http://www.vagnavs.com/
http://navparts.com/ , www.nsxjr.com (http://www.nsxjr.com) , http://audiforum.us/audi-navigation-electronics/ and of course Ebay (usual disclaimers apply). It has to be for the C5 A6, the A4 unit has different trim although someone once said it can be trimmed to fit the A6 and look perfect but no guarantees. It is a great unit, way better than BMW's.

I believe there were only 2 white cars imported (custom order). I'm not sure if they are the same white. Audi is wonderful enough to leave the color code on the options sticker blank on custom ordered colors.
