Sebring 2009 - RS6 gathering

All,
I was thinking since this is the last Audi race in the US I thought it would be good if we could get a good showing of RS6's at the Audi Coral. I have been there the last few years and Audi really does this well plus there is a track drive. I will post some pics but it would be great to see how many RS6's we can get there. There are usually 1 or 2 of us there. The tickets and information should come out soon and I will update this thread when it comes out. Anyone interested?

I so so so wish I could go. they are going to to be running the new R15 which im sure will be a montser. its more likely that ill get to see it at LeMans than at Sebring. there is a slim chance that ill attend but its doubtful. would love to see a bunch of R8's and RS's lined up. having been to the 24H of LM i can say that its worth the trip. nothing more fun honestly.

The Florida guys are still talking to Audi. I will contact them as well. I would think for the last one and the new R15 they would do the corral one last time. Sucks they are leaving ALMS. If they do the IRL, as the rummors say, I might have to hurt someone.

Once I know the details I will pass them on. Audi always waits to the last min to plan the corral.

Since this is the last Audi race on US soil lets have a good showing of RS6 owners this year. Remember you get, food, parking on the front straight, air cond. bathrooms, audi stuff, and a track drive.

Come there was only one other RS6 with me last year. Lets make a better showing. Plus it would be great to put faces with names on the boards. Oh and Fla in March aint bad either.

I didn't realize where you were, I just drove to Tampa and back this past weekend! (Oldsmar actually, for the Gator Nationals BMX race). I'd love to do this thing in March, but another trip across I-10 that soon and I would probably end up killing somebody. What a bunch of idiots on that road. (of course 75 is takes the Grand Prize in that catagory)

Too bad we missed each other. Its funny I am in Houston today through Thurs. I am in Houston each week. I actually was testing a new S4 (V6 supercharged) for Audi over teh last few weeks. Just got my Beast back. I missed her.

Yeah, it felt good to take The Beast out on a long trip. I assume you fly in and out of here with that schedule?

Yep I fly each week. Last time i took the beast on a trip on I-10 was to Destin the damn alternator gave out 15 miles from Sandestin. Since then Q7 road trips over 6 hours :) . Plus the kids have dual DVDs in the Q.

Does anyone know the details on the Blue debadged RS6 that the track uses as a pace car? No plates, looks like it may never have been titled.

stubro, what do you know about lodging around the area for that weekend? Is it non-existant at this point? Any leads? I'm on the 50/50 fence at this point.
