Old Audi RS6 or New Audi S4

What would you go for ?
The old C5 RS6 Avant or the new Audi S4 Avant 2009 ?
I just ask because in a few months the new S4 will be not much
more expensive like the old RS6.
Why would you take RS6/S4 and why not the other one ?
Does anybody know how expensive a new S4 is on running costs?
Are both extrem different in running costs ?
I mean 4.9 secs or 5.1 secs to 100 is actually only 0.2 seconds difference
which doesn't matter very much in normal hobby street driving i think...
Anybody knows the 0-200 time of both ?

Very subjective question. I doubt anyone here has seen or driven the 09 S4. I dont think the wagon is released here in the states?

This is an RS6 board, you will get most folks voting for the RS6. Myself included.

That all said, I did drive the 08 S4 Avant before buying my used RS6. Not even the same league. RS wins every time.

Now, to qualify...I really dont care about maint costs or running costs. Or even 0-60 times. I care what the car does when I put my right foot on the gas pedal and brake pedal. How comfortable is the car and will it fit my needs for daily driving. Running costs are there for most Audi's and will make you pay depending on how hard you run the car. Buy an extended warranty to protect from the big costs and forget about it.

My vote :addict: but really you need to go drive some cars.

V6 supercharger v V8 twin turbo........Performance will still be very much in the favour of the 6. 4.9 seconds in the 6, are you driving with the hand brake on????

And forget the price difference, in the uk you could probably buy 2 RS6's for the price of a new S4.

Doh, I really dont get the lack of wagon appeal in the US. If I could get my hands on a RS6 Avant....I would jump at the chance. So much so that I have even considered buying a 03S6 Avant and putting on some RS6 touches....or buying a Allroad and doing the same.

The C5 size is just right for me. I would sell our LX470 and replace it with the above modded C5 Avant.

To this day the wagons keep coming in Germany. RS6 Avant, S6 Avant, 4.2 Allroad and the list goes on.

Yeah a few, you need a spacer on the hubm a caliper spacer and some centering rings and new longer wheel bolts. Its awesome man........

I would have the one made in a special little factory made by mad german engineers who, disregarding mountains of power think the car is so good for families they made it an avant as well.
