Do we have a turbo timer recirculating oil on shutdown, sounds like it? If so, nice touch, adds a little more security.

I know, it's probably in the manual, but who got's time for readin', I'm too busy drivin' ;-)

I don't think what you're hearing is a turbo timer circulating oil. What I believe you are hearing is a pump circulating liquid coolant around the liquid cooled turbo bearings, and into the main radiator, until a thermoswitch reaches the appropriate cooled down temp and then it shuts off.

Circulated coolant is almost as good as circulated oil, and more efficient to carry away heat anyway. With the fancy oil we have to use, I hope that coking of bearings should not be a problem.
