looks like they've moved the engine forward. it will probably still be rear engined but handle better so it can better compete with the R8 at the limit. it'll also weigh less too. i don't think it'll have an inline 8- too long to fit transversely.

i wonder what audi skunkworks has been theorizing as an R8 replacement. a zero-nero concept based monster would do the trick.

Hmm, looking OK I guess, can't say I like the headlights being raised even higher than 997 but these absurd pedestrian safety laws leave few other options (to hell with retarded jaywalkers IMO, they deserve shattered knees). Not wild about door mounted mirrors either but not the end of the world. The MR layout seems on the cards for sure and I'm excited to see how it pans out...
