Last week I went to the best track of them all with RMA (UK trackday club) to go racing for 2 full days. Only 70 cars allowed. Unfortunenately it was raining 1½ day, but it was a fantastic experience anyway.

Sabine was there in the yellow 997 RSR as well as Ron Simmons to do some instruction. I didn't recieve anything from them - a shame, but thumbs up to RMA to reach these 2 icons for the arrangement.

First time for me on wet-slicks, but wow - i can really recommend to try that kind of tyres out guys. What a grip, despite the bad conditions!

The car did - on standard engine, gearbox, clutch and brakes - 42 laps (2 drivers though) on these 2 stunning days. Stints of approx 1 hour a time. Amazing effort, and clearly the car within the trackday to do most rounds.

I'v done 30 laps now, and is very satisfied with my Bridge to Gantry of 8.32! Of course in the dry on the 2nd day we missed some more power compared to 997 Ruf, 997 Turbo, 997 GT3 RS etc, but all in all an awesome trip.

All the best!
