I wouldn't hold my breath.. Veyron didn't exactly destroy the Ring time records, did it?

Look at the CXX time and take off 1.3 seconds (I would say).
Ruthowsky, you have to remember that the ring isn't exactly smooth compared to a normal track, even one which is basically an airfield that TOPGEAR use. I will be surprised if it's not quicker or as quick as the best non-track based car.
But then I have been known to be wrong from time to time. :blush:

Veyron did the lap in 1:18.3 over 2 seconds quicker than the CXX until I checked the 'Power laps' and saw that there were two times for the CXX with the other being tested with the spoiler.
Still a seriously quick time for something weighing 1800kgs.

TopGear track is rather short and not too fast. Not such powerful and not such heavy cars are better on it...

Exactly, considering all the luxury you find in a Veyron...a great time.
