not suggested to opt for led in the review... but I see a very full and good light from leds....

Review clearly showed that LEDs are not any better then standard Bixenons on R8. Range is the same-about 50m(just, remember that R8 is a sportscar with very low lights). BUT, LEDs are not as harmonic in beam as on Bixenons. LEDs are brighter in first 30m or so but, not after that mark.
Point is from that test is that R8 is equiped with very good lights for a sportscar-be it standard Bixenons or optional LEDs...

i don't think they are designed to be any brighter. just unique and consume less energy and last forever. though i am sure they could make the LED even brighter than xenons though this might be dangerous for other drivers.

LED's may not be any better than the normal ones, and black paint isn't any better than hot pink paint, but one sure looks a lot cooler than the others ;)
