Looking at where the rubber is compare to the arches I very much doubt this car will be going anywhere fast.

That's a photoshop, right?

EDIT: Adding this :)

What about the new Audi A4 W12? Audi has not yet revealed further details about this car because this is just a rendering from young Portuguese designer Gonçalo Reis. This car was inspired by the Audi R8 V12 TDI Le Mans and the new front bumper and grille gave the A4 an aggressive new appearance.

The car was lowered to the max and 19’’ JE Design Multispoke SMHP with red stripe were fitted. New side skirts were also fitted.

Although we have already seen a demonstration of the superb diesel engine technology which was born from the world of motorsport in the Audi R8 TDI Le Mans Concept, Gonçalo choose the 6.0 L W12 FSI engine that used in some high-end luxury models like the Audi A8 and the Bentley Continental GT.
Performance numbers should be something like this:

(5998 cc) W12 FSI, 331 kW (450 PS), 0–100 km/h in 5.2 s

I really can't see the point of a car like this...

Well it would be much too heavy at the front...and only 30hp more than the last RS4? 0-100 time of the new S4? Gas mileage? No way :)

I'm not sure that all the points you are making, not matter how true really is the point to an exercise like this one. It's been done simply could it's a challenge and it's different.

The sheer tuning potential is huge and how cares whether it will handle or not. The bragging rights of saying you own an A4 with a 6.0Lw12 under the hood will probably outweigh the disadvantages.

Ain't this right Jarod.

I'm not sure the W12 is that much havier then a V8.
And a A4 with 12 cylinder sound would be awesome.

Dear The Pretender,

for comparison:

W12 6.0 240kg

RS4 V8 4.2 208kg

S4 V8 4.2 195kg

S8 V10 5.2 220kg

Thanks for that.
The W12 is shorter (less overhang) then a V10 but weigh more.

Qisha,

thanks for that info, but just curious. Why is the RS 4 motor 28.6lbs HEAVIER than the regular S4? I would have though high end light weight stuff would have been used... like Titanium rods and the like?

Dear Benman,

the S4 V8 uses MPI while the RS4 V8 is equipped with FSI. This is the main reason for the slightly increased weight.

As there is a difference, i quoted the S4 engine as well.

Qisha

Qisha,

Again, thank you. That is amazing, I would never have thought FSI adds nearly 30lbs to an engine!
