It is so funny to see VW using an Audi TDI Engine when you know Volkswagen said no to Audi for using the V10 TDI for Le Mans. Reason why the R10 is called R10 and R12...

You do realize that this is a real desert racer, and not meant for the street? It uses the R10 V12 TDI. And I don't think that Audi was ever planning to use the V10 TDI fro the R10, it wouldn't have worked.
