you might need some spacers to avoid rubbing even if 265 will fit...

I have seen/driven an RS6 with 265/35/18s on stock rims. PS2s.

I have 265/35/18's, no rubbing. PS2's. IIRC, 275's should fit as well.

i think i read somewhere that it depends on the brand of tire.

definitely want to check your clearance between the tire and spindle arm.

Well,

Then the search button is still your best friend.

A quick search of the term "tire size" nets this result with pics.

I ordered a set of 265/35/18s from Tirerack. They called back and said the tires might be short or not fit......they wanted to confirm before shipping. I told them to go ahead......I sure hope they fit!

If you ordered the Michelin PS2s. I can tell you they will fit just fine.

I personally viewed that car in the pics.

Why didnt you use Costco if Michelin? 70 rebate and lower prices than TR

Guys how wide are the OE tires? 9.5"?

I didn't see the 70 rebate at costco and the costco website didn't let me to choose the tire size vs by vehicle only. Besides, i had bad experience with the costco installers. They scratched my wheels on my Porsche TT.

While I did order the Michellin PS2, why did it matter with the brand? Aren't they all supposed to be the same and they should fit?

Also - Tire Rack has a special for $317 so the price is about the same as Costco after the 70 rebate.
