My RS6 came without remotes. Does anyone know a way to activate a new remote without using Audi dealer?

Insert Master key into ignition switch. Switch ignition ON. Within 30 seconds, carry out the following procedure: Note entry into learn mode cancels all old codes, so have all remotes present and program them all at once.
1) Inset additional key into drivers door lock, lock the vehicle manually. 2) Press remote + Key transmitter LOCK or UNLOCK button. 3) Wait at least 2 seconds. 4) Press remote + Key transmitter LOCK or UNLOCK button again. 5) Repeat steps 2-4 for additional remote (if applicable). Swtch ignition OFF. Remove key from ignition. Procedure complete. Transmitter may also be programmed using the VW/Audi dealer programming computer or a locksmith that has the equipment. I'm not sure if it can be done with VAG-COM as their are some pages in VAG-COM that show key codes? MGH

vagcom can reprogram the key to perform different tasks but I don't know if it can mate a completely new key to your car.

$100 and 1/2 hour of wait time at the dealer here in the US FYI. Even the velet/non-remote key has to be programmed to the car. Key will unlock the car but not start it.
