I'm happy that EVO now has an RS6 Avant on Fast Fleet.

Look forward to Harry's feedback. It stared good. :deal:

That's the second good review of the new beast I've read. Things are starting to look up.

Don't understand the criticisms of the old car however. Wooden ride I'll give him, I'm off to Unit 20 this weekend to finally dispose of the DRC, but no space in the back?

Is he talking about the same car?

I've driven and been a passenger in both an M5 and an E55 recently and the Audi has way more room back there.

Everybody who has been back in the back seat of mine has had no complaints, except maybe that the ride was too hard.....

I was also confused at the mention of lack of space in the back! I'm sure he was thinking of the RS4 as I've heard that criticism about it before. There have never been any complaints about front or rear seat legroom in the RS6 from any passengers.

"Wooden ride quality" ? Sure, it doesn't have much steering feel and the suspension can be a bit hard, but (as I found out recently) the tyre pressures can make a HUGE difference to the ride quality. When the tyre pressure monitors warned of low pressure, I pumped mine to 44PSI (the top of the recommended range) and the ride was glassy hard and made me cringe on most road surfaces except smooth motorways. Returning the pressures to 38PSI is MUCH more comfortable and probably better for the DRC's longevity too ;)
