IPOD for RS6 C5

Anybody got any ideas about best way to interface my IPOD ? Have the SatNav RNS-E so can use SD card but prefer to connect IPOD straight in.

I hear Audi do an IPOD interface that will replace the CD Multichanger but control is limited ?

Anybody got any suggesstions / alternatives ?

icelink seems to be the preferred route.

i believe that any alternative (audi & icelink) simply presents the ipod as a cd stack to the rnse. in other words you have a maximum of 6 playlists, and no descriptions of either playlists or songs. cd 1, cd2, etc...

the later mmi interfaces interpret the apple id tags so you get full information...

personally, that's why I would just rather use an audio out and control via the ipod interface itself.

Thanks. Think Ill plump for the Icelink option looks simple enough and retains Ipod ease of use.
