They are showing the only part of it which looks remotely good. If the 911 is Cinderella, then the Cayenne and the Panamera are it's ugly sisters.

I don't know what it is with Porsche but they seem to be under the belief that having every model looking like a 911 is a good thing.

Yea true. I don't think their design language is going to change drastically for a long time.
