RS6 Transmission

Hi,

Having only recently joined the forum having purchased my dream RS6 (C5)..... I wanted to understand the common DSG / transmission issues so I can ensure Im covered under my years warranty ?

Its done 34k miles, 2005 reg.

What should I be looking out for ?

Hi and welcome to the club , When the box starts to slip ( just like a worn clutch on a manual car ). bangs on gear change , these are the first signs of a worn box ....

Excellent thanks for the heads up, just want to make sure I dont miss something ominous before my warranty expires ;)

make friends with your service advisor and have him help you break it before your warranty expires.

Not that I would ever condone or do anything like that.
