m finally getting my 2003 rs6 avant hopefully in 2 weeks. Had a problem getting clearance to enter my country. Bought it from Switzerland from an audi dealer there (who I wouldnt recommend as they seem arrogant). It has 25k kms.

I have been looking at the forum for a couple of months & figured that the 2 things that are the problems in an rs6 avant is the DRC & the gearbox. With the DRC, I figured that to replace them with either Bilstein PSS9 or KW v3 would be the permanent solution.

On the gearbox, I cant seem to see any permanent solution. Can you guys help me out on this?

I bought the car last April & it has been sitting in europe till I had it shipped a month ago. Now Im worried that there might be problem in the oil in the gearbox & the gearbox itself (if it has not been driven for quite some time) aside from the future problem (I hope not) fo the gearbox.

Any suggestions please

there are a couple US based solutions, IPT and Level 10. I think Drew is going the IPT route and he knows someone with Level 10? Frankly, there isn't a whole lot of information available on aftermarket transmission solutions.
