There is a rumour that BMW can possibly be entering DTM again.
BMW is standing on a x-road, developing a Diesel car for the WTCC or switch to DTM.
It would be good for the DTM to have a 3th make in de serie's IMHO.

They will still get "spanked" by Audi. Audi has the dominant motorsport program regardless of what BMW thinks. F1 anyone?

I agree - the 'big three' Germans all fighting it out would be excellent. Even though there are multiple 'rival' teams now within each marque, I still miss the Opel days despite the fact they weren't quite up there with Audi and M-B.
