Latest figures from EVO.

Nice to see that the entry level Lamborghini beats the worst Porsche :hihi: and is equal to the F430 in many areas.

Apparently the LP560-4 accelerates as fast as a Ferrari F40!

Gallardo LP560-4
0-60 - 3.7 sec
0-100 - 7.8
0-120 - 10.9
0-150 - 17.6

1/4 mile: 11.7 / 124.8 mph

0-100-0: 12.4 sec.

West Circuit: 1.22,5 sec

Porsche GT2
0-60 - 4.0 sec
0-100 - 8.3
0-120 - 11.7
0-150 - 19.0

1/4 mile: 12.1 / 122.0 mph

0-100-0: 13.0 sec

West Circuit: 1.23,5 sec

Bonus opponent:

Ferrari Scuderia
0-60 - 3.5 sec
0-100 - 7.7
0-120 - 10.8
0-150 - 17.8

1/4 mile: 11.6 / 125.0

here are some GTR specs. they are about neck and neck with the LP pulling away when getting into the triple digits. i'd love to see a handling comparison. a V10 R8 should be about as fast as an LP.

" a V10 R8 should be about as fast as an LP."

But it wont.

The figures for the GTR ends at 75 mph, the Evo-test goes to 150. Quite a difference.

The GTR has no chance at all. But it costs 1/3 and is good value if you dont care about anything but performance, IMHO.

I agree.I am GTR fan but i saw that it has problem above 200km/h with new carrera S.Imagine GT2 etc...See this video at the end:

You'll notice that the 0-100 time for the GTR in that video was 9.5s. I'm afraid the vehicle used falls into the category of those which have done several hundred launch controlled starts. In short, it was knackered. A decent GTR makes around 8.5s 0-100.

Some small details on the Scuderia lap time. The fastest the Scuderia did the lap with factory tyre pressure settings was 1:22.5. The 1:21.7 was achieved by adjusting the pressure. This is not in line with usual Evo testing procedure. See page 92 of Issue 121.

I know the GTR should do better than 9.5s but it's not out of the question for the car to vary a bit, with 8.5s being the best and 9.5s being the worst.

This shouldn't have been done, it's not only a false result because it's improving the amount of grip available but it will shorten the life of the tyres.

7.8 is the best, 8.9 is the worst for a fresh GTR. 9+ means the clutches are screwed. People with fresh GTRs generally test 8.3-8.6 in the UK and a few tenths faster in the states. If my GTR loses 1+ second on a 0-100 run, it's in at the garage.

Precisely. The time should have an '*' next to it.
