This is the V10 version with ragtop camo.

they must have widened, or at least, deepened the side intakes. i don't see rear fender flares so it must be the latter. an elegant way to keep the lines clean. i wonder why they didn't just do that with the V10 coupe. the are doing a fine job of keeping it clean........... typical audi. smooth lines, that's one reason i love 'em.

The V10 R8 coupe have side blades and the spider have not.

that is irrelevant. both have the same opening irrespective of how it is created.

the outer wall is what i find interesting because it seems that they are both the same (flush with the body), but that maybe only the depth varies among them, effectively making the intake bigger, but moving the inner wall further into the body rather than moving the outer wall out in order to create the bigger opening. i don't see why they couldn't do that with the V10 coupe as well.

Looks good. It looks really "clean". I do prefer the lines of the coupe though. I think it looks more "energetic" with the crease in the side intake.

Very nice car! And looks like the spider will also get the V10. Now I'm really curious about it's ring time.

With the difference, that the R8 seems to have two airdomes coming up from the engine cover (was visible on the early scetches) towards the rear window.

I dunno guys, but doesn't it seem like that the clothed top might be covering up a hardtop? Anyone know if Audi is thinking about making it a hardtop convertible? Or am I just way out of it?

was wondering that too... some things that look strange: the cutted softtop at the doors and the huge step of the soft top above the front window. Wonder if its going to be a hard top ( my 2 cents is, that this would be a too heavy solution) or a Targa... hopefully it's soft top - looks classi, isn't that heavy, pure roadster tradition

All these articles are saying "no camo" when it's quite clear that the back of the roof / rear window is still covered in camo.
