well not my taste; looks kinda ..... strange.
but let's see if it's going to have that look and if it's selling well -> I also couldn't imagine that the cayenne would ever sell that good.

hm i think thats a panamera rendering.....this photoshop is quiet old, seen it in auto motor sport magazine..... but thats the nicest photoshop of the panamera.. there is no spyshot that promises that the panamera is going to be a beautiful car :/

This is a PS sadly - the real pics I have seen from a cold test in Sweden is a totally different car!

You talk about the 5door Panamera, this will be the 3 door coupe.

Hard to believe that Porsche would not make the 928 variant look beautiful. The original one was one of the most beautiful shapes of the time, and I for one still am very fond of the 928 GTS 4 with the stick. One of the rare cars, it showed what a front engined Porsche is capable of, (not to take anything away from the rear engined ones), but the balance of the one is going to be one of the best, and again hard to imagine Porsche will not put everything in it. Just my 2 cents!

Porsche seldom make a bad car, with the possible exception of the 914. All of their front engined cars were great handling cars, all had the kind of balance few cars possess.

I have driven the 928S4, though it was an auto version and I agree, it was something very special. It was ahead of it's time in Porsche terms, meaning Porsche owner wouldn't except the possibility of any other than rear engined being top of the Porsche tree. Maybe now with the acceptance of the Cayenne and the soon to be launched Panamera we will see the return of the 928 spirit and finally get the sales the original deserved.

The 924, 944 and 928 are all transaxle (engine in the front, gearbox in the back) rearwheel drive cars.
Like the current Corvette or in some way the new GT-R only that is a 4WD transaxle car.
But they are all nice weight balanced cars.

Off topic I know, but why when there is so many spy shots of the Panamera that will haven't had a proper photoshop of the thing.

Hans, come on you are sure to have something laying about.

Here's what Porsche gave us:

And using spyshots with the above pics I'd say this is very very close to what it would look like. (They arent made by the same person though, I picked the most accurate chops):
