RS5 in Paris in October?

The 4th of October the carshow in Paris starts...

The SL65 Black Series will be there if I'm not mistaking and many other cars that are worth seeing. But I'm only going if the RS5 is there as well. Any chance?

No RS5 @ Paris, Audi S4 for sure and most likely R8 V10.
The other question is will Audi show a Concept car yes or no.
In that case we maybe will see a A7 Concept IMHO.

Maybe or maybe not, if the TT/RS hasn't been seen prior to this date then I think it will get the nod, you will also see the new Golf GTI and maybe the GTi-R as well. I have also heard that we will most likely see the new 3.0TFSi engine is the Q5 and Q7 sometime next year and torque vectoring will also make it into the S5 sometime next year.

The delay that may be present in the new S/Tronic, I wonder is there problems occurring in the final stages of testing. If the new M-DKG box is anything to go by then I am glad for the more testing, check out on some BMW web sites and read the list of problems occurring with it, the list is never ending. This gearbox has been brought to the market far too soon if you ask me. :noshake:

The stories say there are also some problems with the GT-R double clutch gearbox.
Like there where problem with the 1st gen DSG in the TT Mk1.
All starts are difficult with some problems.

I didn't realize the GTR was also suffering problems. It looks like the complexity of the things are causing the engineers headaches.

Here's hoping that Audi can show them how it's done.

the RS6 sedan has to be shown as the updated A6 is all set to go at the factory. they need this car to breathe a bit of excitement into the conclusion foregone current A6 platform.

the other possibilities are the V10 R8 and the S4. maybe both. i don't think they want to overwhelm the show with an A7 concept too. there are two shows forthcoming after the paris show- LA and Tokyo.

TTR, RS5, A7, new A8.... audi is going to have a hell of a busy CY 2009. not to mention the possibly updated Q7 with LED running lights.
