The bulk of the difference seems to have been in the first shift when on the rolling start and the difference in the standing start was considerably small considering the weight of the M3 convertible.
Was there no M3 DCT coupe or saloon there to give a more valid comparison between the two. But based on the evidence seen here I would reckon either the coupe or saloon might have this one in the bag.
If it were anywhere other than on M5Board I would class this as an unbelievable result for the M3 convertible, but as it is I will hold judgement until I see more video evidence.
