View Full Version : Took the R8 to the track for the first time yesterday

What a car. So easy to drive and so easy to drive fast. Handling was incredible as were the brakes. Even without the ceramic, there was not a drop of fade. Car didn't even run hot. Handled it like a champ. With a V10, the car would be perfect. I hit 130 on the long straight with moderate braking room. I can't wait for the next day out and of course that v10.
Unfortunately I didn't have a camera, so I'll have to see if anyone got any pics while out there. We did record one lap on a digital camera, so I'll have to see how it looks.

A couple pics from the track. These shots aren't too exciting, but shots none the less. There may be some more, but I gotta find out. I know for a fact we did a video from inside, so I'll hopefully have that soon.
