Hii guys,, I have been yesterday at my friend's garage to try my RS6 on the DYNO DYNAMICS. Unfortunately, we tried sooo many times to get the max BHP & torque but with no luck. after so many times we got 290 BHP only. He said that ECU detectes the DYNO because of high rates of cycles on wheels and then prevent RPM to reach the redline and max we can go upto 5500RPM only with 250 KM/H in the speed. Anyone have an idea what could be cause of this problem?

Here are some photos also :)

what you're suppose to do is to use the vagcom to force the transmission to not upshift and keep it in third gear to best results.

do a search for vagcom and dyno and it should turn up the results you're looking for. Basically, vagcom is the software/cable used to control your computer via the computer in order to modify and monitor such as what we're attempting to do here.

More basic information on vagcom: http://www.ross-tech.com/

It can be done without VAGCOM but it is really really hard to dyno these cars.

1. Turn off traction control (duh, but you never know.) ;0

2. Use the manual mode shift slowly build up to 3rd gear then slowly build up speed and find the sweet spot to keep it in 3rd. It's not easy but it can be done. Stock you should be pulling:

381.23HP and 389.81 Torque at the wheels

3. You will peak around 6000RPM in 3rd gear to get the top HP/Torque output of the engine.

I need to get my car back on the dyno with the Revo program but a combination of little time and the painful process on the dyno on my other RS6 has prevented me from doing so. I'm guessing I'm in the 400HP, 410 torque range at the wheels now.

Good luck!
