RS6 Arrival

Finally collected her yesterday evening :addict: WoW

Colour - purple black, looks black in low light & deeeep red wine in the sun

Only had time to put on 100k before I had to put her to bed

Blown away by the feeling when driving & the quality of the overall finish

2500 k round trip to Italy this weekend, UK in Aug

Think its refered to as "Pruple Black" fell in live with it
It was the colour exibited on the Vienna auto show

Just over 4,000 km since arrival on 16th July, major trips to date

Vienna - South Italy, high way :vhmmm:
Vienna - Prague, back roads :wo:

Vienna - Gross Glockner & friends, Alpine roads :thumb:

Driving it is just addictive, just can't stop, that is untill the cash for juice runs out :MTM:

Car is Awesome & thats an understatement, it inspires confidence in both dry & wet conditions. Coverd allot of ground this weekend over fantastic Alpine roads, clocked over 14hr driving time (no tickets I hope ) NOT a bad word to say - Audi RS6 C6 :love2:

The most extreme car in the world right now. The combination of V10 TT in a HUGE estate is just so obscene (in a good way :thumb:).

Seen MANY new RS 6 this summer.. Maybe i'll upload some pic's.


By the way, the color is cherry black pearl. On of my all-time favorite Audi colors. Remember seeing it first time at the old A8. Beautiful color!

Congratulations on your car! But...

Somehow I'm disappointed with the looks of a C6 RS6. It doesn't have the aggressiviness with the looks as the all previous RS models. The hole C6 body shape reminds me of a whale. Headlamps with the leds are nice thou. The engine is great, maybe even awesome, as are the sepang blue color and the thing that the recaro buckets are offered as a option instead of the "sofas". Otherwise I just don't like the package. Even in black it just doesn't have the stealth look. Sedan seems to be a little better, although the new rearlamps are looking worse the old ones. Also the rear lamps of the A4 B8 are plain awful, but that's a whole different story.

This is just my opinion and we can't argue about the matter of taste. Many of us seem to like the new RS6, so it cannot be all bad. Behind the wheel it has to be great (I'm waiting for my test drive to happen in couple of weeks), but the looks just cannot match that.
I just couldn't switching my RS4 to that, mainly because of the looks, and also the whopping price in Finland. Base car is 220000 euros, over $300000.

Long live the wide wheel arches! Long live the Audi RS heritage!
