Is it solely the 335i getting the gearbox or is the rest of the range?

audi is really droping the ball on this one. By not beeing able to introduce it in the S5 shows that BMW is in head of audi.

Leadfoot, it's only 335i Coupe and Vert are getting m-DKG.

But it will simplified M-DKG without Drivelogic.

Are you meaning that in the 335i it only has automatic and manual modes with none of the multi-modes being offered in the M3? It will make the 335i a more appealing car than it currently is.

The S4 & S5 with S/Tronic can't come soon enough.

Yes, I mean that exactly.
And it will be DKG not M-DKG due to its simplification.
And also gearing numbers will differ from that on M3.

Though they predict the car to accelerate faster than with automatic.

Faster then automatic and faster than manuall. lower fuel consumption, as well...

They say that, at least...

I wonder how this version will compare to Audi's new 7sp S/Tronic and more importantly how will it compare in price will AUdi's version expected to retail at £1450, that's a million miles away from what BMW are charging for their version in the M3 £2590. It maybe a stripped down version of that but will it's price down by over £1140?
