you gents are going to think i'm mad , but has anyone thought of a dsg conversion on the 03 rs6 ???

if manual is so difficult then maybe dsg??( at least no more torque convertor issues)
i would rather have dsg then our tiptronic .

I'm sure it's only slightly less difficult than a manual conversion and if you're going to take the time and money, why not just go for a manual conversion?

sure , but auto is still nice to have on daily basis and if it would be like the golf 5 dsg ( response & feel) round the track , then its a great all rounder

i wonder what the power ratings on this dual clutches are ?

If you mean the DSG version sold by Audi and VW today (Not the Veyron one.) the gearbox will be ripped to pieces by the torque. Especially if you're running a chipped beast.
