Going to take delivery of my new baby next week :addict:
Will post thoughts & pic's in due course

Being told run in period is 1,500 km with service intervals being varied dependant on driving style "Audi’s innovative Audi Variable Servicing system"

While I appreciate how the car systems are monitored to achieved this, the engeneer in me says, there would be a benefit in changing out the engine & gear box oil, simply because, during early run in there is a bedding in of parts

Would appreciate hearing any other opinions

Tks :rs6kiss:

Congratulation :thumb: :addict:

Good to hear from a "landsmann" getting the beast.

Look forward to your thoughts & impressions.

Regarding the fluid change, modern engines supposedly do not need an oil change after the run-in period, due to smaller engine production tolerance and better oil quality.

So it is up to you - if you invest the money. It will be good for sure for this magnificent engine, but not really necessasy.

And if you do it, wait a little longer 2-3.000 km.

cheers
seb.
