I just want 2 give u guys a heads up on Microsoft's latest security update (KB951748) Once installed it can play havoc with your firewall & prevent u from accessing the net unless u lower your firewall protection level.
Those of us running Zone Alarm Internet Secuirty are at most risk while Norton seems 2 b unaffected by this update.
Just keep this in mind & if u have any problems you can always remove the Microsoft update by doing the following:
Go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Make sure there is a tick in the box 2 show the Updates (at the top of the window).
Locate KB951748 & remove it.
Reboot.
Your firewall can be set to High again.
Be sure 2 check out the website 4 your specific antivirus software for any information on a proper fix for this.
