I know most of us have had our cars for a good period of time (some more then others) and we have almost all done a good portion of modifications to some extent so post up before and after pics and lets see the outcome. For me it was crazy to see the 2 pics next to each other. Now I could never imagine it back to stock.

Litle bit off topic here..., but what's with the number plate...?

You are living in the US, but you have german plates or ''german like'' plates?

P.S.

Your car is looking really great!

not all us states require that you put a plate in the front and there are many who choose to put up vanity type plates.

then there are those like me who just don't put their license plates on :D

My before:

Will put up pics of my LED taillights when I get my car back.

Just another note. While I do like the new rims (and the increased size), I do still very much like the OEM rims.

thanks Fonz and Andy for the comments and like DW said some states don't require a front plate (although mine does) people use vanity tags and because the RS6 already has the indentation for the "euro plate" i used the tags off my grandads old car in Germany.

drew, after looking at my pics and yours, I think that the biggest issue I have with the RS6 (that you've solved) is the "bubbliness" of the front fender indicated by the red arrows below. This is especially noticeable when compared with the S6 in the background, blue arrow:

Now, if only I didn't live in the concrete jungle of Southern California, I think I would give serious weight to adding that CF lip like you did.

Apart from fitting a B7 RS4 DRC anti-roll bar, the only modifications I've made to my S4 are on the inside. When I got it I decided almost immediately that the 'grey birch wood veneer' trim had to go, so that was replaced with aluminium. Later I installed the RNS-E DVD+ Nav in place of the Symphony II:

the aluminum trim isn't bad. I've got it in my current A4 loaner. Quite like it. And looking at your setup, it seems like you've got 2 sat nav systems now right? Your original turn-by-turn and the rns-e?

Yes, I left the original system in place with a view to removing the RNS-E and reinstalling the Symphony II when I sell the car. Its CD drive is still in place in the boot, just disconnected. I was going to remove its control panel and buy a blanking plate for the centre console but I never got around to it.

With the current state of the market in the UK for S4s, I will probably leave the RNS-E in at after all. Cars without Nav+ are even harder to shift than those without. :nana:
