anyone else had this problem ? Seems to come and go and only happens in the last metre or so when pulling up at lights for example.

Had them checked yesterday and no problem found.....anyone else had the same?

After they were cleaned they seemed ok but then started again.

TIA

Car is brand new - 450kms done so far. I never had the problem with the RS4 - I will be taking it back and back and back until it goes away!

Most of the time it's dry brake pad,s.
Put some grease on the back side of the brake pad's.
Use stuff labeled 'High Temp Silicone Grease", or "Disc Brake Grease",
or something labeled specifcly for the purpose.
You will solve the problem.

Sounds good but your assumption is that I ahve at least 1 mechanical bone in my body. :vhmmm:

I'm not saying to do it yourself, i'm only give the solution to your problem.
Go back to the dealership and let them fix-it.

It's normal. Most big, high-end breaks squel in my experience.

careful with the grease suggestion. i think he means let your dealer do it or suggest them this to them. even if you knew how to do it i wouldn't rec it b/c of the warranty issue.

You have to take the pad's out to do it.
If you not familiar with brake's don't do it you self.

Are the brakes run in (bedded) yet?

Some quick googling results:

Thanks for that - they seem to be getting quieter the more I drive it so perhaps it is just a matter of bedding them in.
