so what do i see:
a little of Lexus (side rear profile, exhaust)
a little of Citroen (rear lights)
a little of Maserati (side profile)
and a lot of ugliness (especially the front)
The only thing i like is the big wide iDrive screen :hihi:
And I'm sure it will sell...

I don't think it is that bad. Better looking than current product in my opinion.

This one is so full of compromises, the current one, as ugly (or not) as it is was very original car, and first thing on the market, for a long time, that hasn't had anything simmilar with any other car...

The kidney grills are disproportionately big (reminds me of a Maybach) and I see they're still persevering with that ever-so-dated-now 'Hofmeister Kink'. Overall though I'd agree with Nene - it doesn't induce nearly as much retinal trauma as its predecessor.

I just think it's had its day, and suited the older models better (E46, E39 etc.) It doesn't sit well with the newer 'flame surfaced' designs IMO. The E92 is a classic example - beautiful from the front and front three quarter view, but from the B-pillar back it just looks dated and bland. All IMHO of course (just don't get me started on the http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/images/smilies/1.gif)!

Is this some kind of a joke from BMW? That is ugly! I looks like some chinese designer had made it.
I really can't stop laughing on this car!

That Double-grill is way too big compared to those headlamps.
And the rear is just 5-series gone bad :noshake:
I do like the interior :hahahehe: thank god that the drivers will be inside most of the time so they won't see the exterior that much

I'm looking forward to the seeing the new A8L. Seems that Audi is very hush, hush regarding the next generation A8-Series. The current A8L looks 1000 times more elegant and refined than this stretched Nissan Maxima copy from BMW.
