question...i have been driving the RS4 for 2 mths and really loved it:love2: . However it consumes gas really quickly. Is that normal? And since it's manual, my wife can't drive it. I ordered a C63 but still waiting, however I saw a used SLK 55 AMG that i like and it's a two seater. I read from the internet but there are opposing views. Any previous owner or knowledgeable experts who can give me some advice?

You expected a high performance v8 to get great mileage?

Very good car, very impressive. More than the RS4. It was mine before the RS4 for 2 years.

Only regret, the automatic shift, quite slow. The same problem with the C63 i expect to order. But its extraordinary engine does everything.

I guess I misunderstood your question:blush: . For a full tank, it's roughly 400km. Is that what you mean?

Look in this weeks edition of Autocar - they tested the JCW against a Lotus Elise, and concluded that although the Elise costs £5000 more it's worth every penny.

I've already read this weeks edition of Autocar.....but I'm thinking of buying a used Mini GP and it's a different car and it looks very nice too, if i buy it I will keep it for a very long time!:)

But a Mini, however much it's modified, is still a Mini and can never be as "special" as a Lotus.

When looking for a car for my wife we looked at the Mini and concluded that it's over-priced and just too "designer twee".
