looks like a DB9 body mounted on an Audi Avus, which is not looking bad, in my opionion.

i really think it has great potential, i love the low n wide hammershark look!

while i love aston and want to see the vanquish replacement go head to head with the 599 GTB, i only like the rear angle of this concept.

don't get me wrong, it looks fascinating as is. enough to study it in person over a cup of coffee, but it definitely needs a narrower front and a wider rear. perhaps a shorter overhang too. as is, it looks like it has a transverse V12 since the front is so wide.

if they can raise the rear quarter another 25% and do the rest it will be death defyingly gorgeous.

I think it would be a stunning car when they made it for real. The only problem is that Aston Martin always stays a bit behind in the number of horsepowers. They never really get there, if you know what I mean. They should give this concept +700 hp, and they'd be back in the game. On the other hand it's great that they don't care that much about the horsepowers and they just keep doing what they do best: making beautiful car (even they are not British, and not even from Ford anymore)...

With cars like this, and the Rapide they're talking about for quit some time, Aston Martin is a make I have nothing against. Just that the cars look all the same, but it's the same story with Porsche. And that the interior is stunning at first sight but cheaply finished. I HATE the gear lever in the DBS! I ones sat in one and everything is gorgeous but if I had the money I wouldn't buy it just for that uglylooking 'powerrangerleg' (like JC calls it).
