Don't think they are really testing it IN the snow :nana: but like they did with the RS4 down and up mountain roads...
Yet: SO excited!!

Thanks for the heads-up with this show as I watched/recorded the Merc 63 Estate/BMW M5 Touring and was asking myself, "When are they going to trumpet in the Audi RS6?!?!?!" "Maybe after this commercial..." Nope... "OK, the segment is almost over, they have to do it now...." Nope...

It was rather sad to see both the Merc and the BMW get stuck in the grass with 500HP spinning a tire or two. The comparison was against a Rover... Huh?

Both cars had gobs of tire smoke drifting the corners on the Manchester runways. The Merc's trick sliding rear bed was a nice innovation but this isn't "Pimp my ride"...

Jeremy actually stated he like the Merc 63 over the M5.

If anyone gets a Youtube of it or a movie of the next show, post the link...
The link the MB provided states that the next show, the RS6 spotlight, is June 22nd at 8PM(GMT? PST? ABC? 123? timezone...) on BBC2.

BBC2 is on BST (British Summer Time), which would be 2pm for us here in sunny southern california. I'll probably have the episode by that evening. A rereading of the page though says that the new series starts on 22 June, it doesn't say that the episode has the RS6. I am hoping though!

No,No! They post an article on the site every day that contains stuff from season 11 but the RS6 is not for sunday. I've read that this sunday it's the Scuderia they will be testing. I can be wrong because the site could be wrong... You'll find the link in a thread: Top Gear starts on 22 June.

Top Gear
Sun 22 Jun, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm 60mins
Website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear
Top Gear returns in style. In the first of the new series Jeremy, Richard and James apply their minds to the question of what the British police should drive. At the moment Bobbies are forced to drive around in diesel hatchbacks, gingerly shuffling the steering wheel and letting criminals get away rather than risk scuffing their wheel trims. So, armed with no more than Â1000 each, the Top Gear boys set out to buy a bargain priced police cruiser that can take part in a dramatic chase without fear of costing the tax payer a packet if it gets broken.

Meanwhile, James introduces a new member of the Top Gear team and steps aside so they can immediately make their mark on the show with a remarkable feat of daring.

And as if that wasn't enough, Jeremy tears up the Top Gear track in the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the car that aims to put some passion back into the Italian supercar maker's increasingly nerdy and computerised stable.

Plus, there's a break from the norm as the Reasonably Priced Car welcomes a pair of stars in the contrasting shapes of the Friday Night Project's Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins.

All this, and some sound advice about how to deal with rising petrol prices. Top Gear is longer, stronger, faster, better and probably a bit more on fire than ever before. [S]

one of the bullet items listed from this page above is this:

The 572bhp Audi RS6 goes skiing, sort of.

The real question is "when is it broadcast?". There seems to be no schedule (yes, I tried to say it in my best parlimentary British accent), until I had only focused on RS6 instead of schedule... (i tried again...)

Does that mean it will go IN the snow? I REALLY hope so!

I wasn't sad. I knew (and know) that's where the RS6 comes in. But indeed: it didn't on that particular moment...
I hope they mention the 'stuck in the grass' scene (hopefully with a flashback!) and then introduce the blue C6. But... they won't, will they? It would be perfect!

"The M5 and the Merc got stuck in the grass but this one doesn't even complain in the snow!"
No? :hahahehe:

You have to watch out with wikipedia. Mostly the info is correct but everybody who wants to drop info on it can. So if you want to drop bullshit on it, it's possible and some people will fall for it then...

oh ya, of course. Therein lies the paradox of wiki; the more obscure the topic, the more prized the potential information but the less trusted
the information.

For something like Top Gear where there are literally millions of people who are reading and probably contributing to the page, I think that the information is fairly safe.

It is indeed. But just don't swallow everything it says.
