Hello,

i am looking for a list of companys that offer chip tuning for the new RS6...
so far i have seen that SKN and Wetterauer offer chipping it.
Wetterauer claims 628 hp while SKN goes for 639. Both add around 90nm of torque coming to a total of 740nm while claiming 330km/h topspeed.
Are there any other companys that offer enhancements for the C6 yet?
So far both MTM and Abt arent offering (atleast not officially) anything for the C6 yet....

The engine is capable of so much more, so is it a case of this is approaching the limits of the gearbox?

MTM has done 1000 hp with a biturbo V8 4.2l from RS6. It was a special engine on a properly cooled car...

So with a 5.0l Biturbo Engine, 1200 hp is still realistic. Biggest problem is being Heat !

Are we talking about an engine which would be classed as drivable, I don't think so. I think a peak of 750hp would be a much as anyone would want to take it to and still see it as an everyday mode of transport. Even with 750hp what would the torque levels not be, my guess is a 800~850Nm but a less than perfectly flat curve, though everywhere it will beat the stock motor. What is the limitations of the gearbox, can it comfortably cope with figures in excess of 900Nm.

Such a machine would be a beast.

800 Nm is already duable with 600hp with the gearbox properly cooled...

And does that take into account the way people tend to drive these ultra hi-performance cars. ;)
