I know of one guy who has done the matt-black wrap on his 996 GT3 and also Brabus did the same on the Bullit.

Ford color? OK. VW color? OK. Audi current or old range? No problem.

Lamborghini color? NO WAY! NOT possible.

A little bird whispered in my ear that Lambo charges 22k euros for matte finish...

For the time being, the only way to get matte finish on a Lambo is to order a LP640 as the factory only can produce one matte car per day. The matte finish will be avaliable in the spring/summer for the LP560. Its very complicated and takes a lot of time.

Just a question, how to fix a stone chip on a car with matte finish?! How will it look with that 3M-protection film???

Rage was asking for manufacturers to come out with Matt color tones. Lamborghini is starting Matt colors as a option. It is a very sophisticated workflow bringing out a Matt color, time consuming and more steps than a regular paint work. Therefore cost intensive.

But back to your comment. Let me ask you something, do you count Giallo Modas Metallic to the Lamborghini color pattern-, for example?

Are you sure that this R8(pics from Motor-talk btw) is indeed in Giallo Midas?

I know personally a R8 costumer that wanted Lamborghini Verde Ithaka on his car. Dealer needed to verify order(code 9996 for Exclusive color) with the factory... BUT, quattro Gmbh refuses to except that order since Lamborghini colors are for Lamborghini only. I saw that email personally and I know from whom in quattro Gmbh it came from...

Just wanted to add, the "out of range" colors are 6.000 euros plus tax. Sad but true, the Balloon White is one of them.

Not feeling it on the R8 or CGT. Trendy finish, but there are better colors.
