Hey,

so...i got my hands on one today and i took it for a ride :-) :addict:

Really awesome car, i love the sound! Lovely to see peoples faces once you pass a bridge/small tunnel with 4k rpm hehe. Its so brutal compared to my C5.

The flexible DRC suspension is unbelievable...
Like you drive your girlfriend to the shoe shop in comfort mode and once you got rid of her :lovl: you push this thing into
sport mode and its a complete other car. The suspension is really stiff in sport mode...can almost feal any dust particle on the
road...while comfort makes it "fly" over the road like a hovercraft...

One last thing i wondered about was the gasoline sticker on the fuel-filler...it says it would even take 91 octane....normal is 95 octane. No word about 98....which is what i usually drive.

Ok enough talk here's the videos: :incar:

Thanks for the text/pics/vids jonas.

I read other people's tests saying they were disappointed...not with the performance, but the overall looks. It looks a bit dull compared to the C5.

I guess thats upto ones opinion. I love the style and look. If you want an aggressive look just go for a bright color...the fenders will be highly visible then and make their statement.
A dark color makes it stealthy....which is what i prefer.

The led lights are beautiful....but not all people on the autobahn know whats behind them yet....but i've taught quite some people around frankfurt :hahahehe:

I wanted to do some more speed tests but unfortunatly germanys fastest autobahn between frankfurt and darmstadt is once again limited to 120km/h due to road damages (i am innocent!).

Really love the way you talk about this epic car. I can really get an image of how it would feel driving it. Still I think I would be blown away by it in real life. For me the looks are all have dreamed about! In a white color with all the rest in black (trim and exhaustx etc) it would be the only car I'd need to be happy for the rest of my life (not considering health and all the rest that's so much more important!). But it's way off my budget:'(

Keep the tests coming!

You are right indeed, it is definitely up to opinions.

Offtopic: best Autobahn according to me remains the A9 and A31 :dig:

A9 is pretty good, too. Never drove on the A31 yet.
The A5 between frankfurt and darmstadt still holds various speed records since the 1940's when the mercedes silberpfeile and their V16 engines raced over 450 km/h there. Unfortunatly there were also alot of deadly accidents at that time.

Awesome small review man, also thanks for the videos! This car is a Wolf in sheeps clothing. Who in their right mind (except us enthusiasts) would think that a 580HP Biturbo V10 is under the hood of this car? So crazy.

Which gear were you in when you hit the limiter?

If 6th then try 5th gear as some have said it will top out over 200mph, I would love to know if this is true.
