I had my ducts fitted by the Grizzmiester about a month or so ago, and have written a bit on how much better the brakes are now with them fitted.
The litmus test was always going to be a r-run of the "8 mile thrash" when i was back in cornwall. Well, I have been back, and I have a video.
A couple of things before you watch it.
I know this road like the back of my hand and have been walking/cycling/driving it for 30 odd years. I never took ANY stoopid chances. I could have driven faster, but that would have been STOOPID.
I am not trying to justify the drive, it was purely in the name of research:D
The weather was at least 15 degrees C. hotter.
There was more traffic on the road as it was later in the year.
I had already been driving somewhat spiritedly, and the brakes were VERY warm. :revs:
The Road Angel reads about 3mph below speedo, but is about 1.5 seconds behind.
The brake test speed was speedo indicated and was actually a bit more!
But just checking the vid on yountube you cannot see the speed on the gps anyway, dont know why as on my laptop the res is excellent.
The camera was knocked and the angle is a bit strange, and I didn't get chance to do another run.:doh:
I wibble and spout bollox a lot.:blush:
