Dear all,

I bring my car for a probably DRC failure two months ago on 9.April.2008 to Rick Case - Atlanta and I still haven't got it back yet.

First time, they told me that not sure it's DRC or suspension link....etc
Ok, I gave them ONE month to find out but they failed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then business manager told me that have to order special equipment directly from Germany (accumulator) to fill the oil into suspension.
Two weeks passed and I got no words from Russell who's the manager at Rick Case. I email him and he said is doing the best to locate a loaner (equip) to fix the problem and that's not what he told me when I walked in.

I am on the road for a business trip to Asia for months and it's very very frustrated when I back to Atlanta without car fixed that I can NOT enjoy driving RS6!

so, can anyone here who knows how to contact Audi USA directly? I want the problem solved ASAP. Is this how they treat a true Audi enthusiast liked me?

Thanks!

I have dealt with two dealers for the DRC issues on my car. The first one really hesitated to do anything about it, I mean it took me three visits to finally get them replace one (1) shock of the DRC system and it took me about three weeks to get that.

The second one was a totally different experience. After 15 minuets of road test with me, they replace the whole DRC system, including the one shock that the first deal replaced. The car was ready to pick up within a week.

From my experience: don’t not waste your time to hang on to the dealer that, for any reason, does not seem to want to replace the whole DRC system. Research your local Audi dealers and try another dealer ASAP.

That's ridiculous! Audi Customer Care has a special division for RS6 and A8 owners only. Skip the regular 800 number and call them directly at 1-866-892-2834. Have your VIN# ready, they will need it. (Since you don't have the car, you can get that number off any insurance documents you have.)

My suggestion is to NOT say that it's DRC, leave that to them to determine. Instead, I would say that it has suspension trouble and that the dealer has not been able to get the car back to you for 2 months! I would point out to them what your insurance has cost plus any other inconveniences and expenses you've incurred because of the delay. Then, be forceful that Audi of America get involved immediately and help to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

I agree with Blitzen. Both dealers I visit categorize me as their A8 clients and they should not take 2 months to wait for a part.

Please report your DRC failure to the NTHSA by using the link provided in the sticky thread at the top of this forum list.

Expect your car to be repaired improperly and also expect to go thru this frustration for several more weeks .. Perhaps you might try and find an Audi dealer in your state that can guarantee their techs know how to replace the DRC. Most dont have a clue.
