250.000,- EUR for an V10 R8 in Germany -> is it just me, or is that a bargain for a V10 R8?
In Ausria (when importing) you would have to pay at least another 45k EUR just for taxes.

That's quite good, the S6 vs RS6 is 33% dearer and the S4 vs RS4 is 35% dearer. Audi is keep it's price very competitive in my opinion.
It will be interesting to hear what the final spec and standard kit will include.

I may be naive, but how is it possible that a R8 V10 is for sale if it hasn't even been show officially yet?

I don't buy it. There is no way some privateer has somehow gotten a R8 V10. From where would he get on in the first place? I doubt Audi sold one if it even has any to show yet. Audi wouldn't allow it in the first place and how did they acquire a car not yet commercially produced.

As far as i know this is an Audi Dealer who owns an Audi Contract of the V10 R8.
The car has not been build yet. The text says that wishes and changes still can be made. The car will be delivered at second quarter of 2009

This also would explain why no RL Pictures are shown of the V10.

If I had the money I'd put down a deposit for that car and then when it comes out with 35 less HP than stated I'd sue them and get some money :D :)
